The Kalahari design, aptly named after the famous African desert, where the sunshine can be relentless, is one of Bambooka’s oldest style. Its round shaped frame and slightly larger lens make this style often preferred by ladies, yet this frame is carried equally well by the nose of a man. This is the favourite design of Hollywood actor Fionn Whitehead.

– Dark brown bamboo front and natural bamboo coloured  temples.
– Frame outer width approximately 140 mm. Front height approximately 54mm.
– All Kalahari frames are fitted with a highly scratch resistant quality CR39 lens, of cat 3 darkness, and slightly graded darkness to facilitate easy reading.
– comes with a complimentary EVA hard case.

Quality

-Bambookas are made by real people, not machines or robots.
-As such they come with minor irregularities and imperfections
-we find these add to their charm.
-Thus, no two pairs of Bambooka are never 100% the same!
